Loyalty app for salons

Your booking system tells you who’s coming tomorrow. Not who stopped coming.

Your own app under your salon’s name. Clients earn points with every visit, and you see who hasn’t booked in a while — and can message them.

The problem

A booking system and a loyalty program solve two different problems

If you take bookings online, your calendar is handled. That matters — but it looks forward, not back.

You see who booked. You don’t see who stopped booking.

A client who came in for color every six weeks and hasn’t been in for four months doesn’t show up in your booking system at all. She’s simply not there — and an absence doesn’t trigger an alert.

You have no way to reach her

Only a fraction of people open email. Texts cost money and feel impersonal. Instagram reaches whoever the algorithm decides.

Clients leave quietly

Clients don’t leave with a slammed door. They push back an appointment once, try a salon near work, and three months later they’re going somewhere else. If you’d reached out in the first month, they’d probably have come back.

How it works

Three steps, alongside what you already use

Step 1

Your client downloads your app

Under your salon’s name, with your logo and colors. Listed on its own in the App Store and Google Play.

Step 2

After the appointment, you scan her code

At the front desk, with your phone. No new equipment and no change to how you work.

Step 3

You see who comes in and who dropped off

And you can send a notification — to everyone, or just to those who haven’t booked in a while.

Rewards

Rewards that match the value of a visit

Salon visits are pricier and less frequent than in food service. So the reward doesn’t have to be “free” — it just has to feel like a thoughtful touch.

Sixth visit — 30% off

At once every six weeks, that’s a reward after about eight months. Long enough to feel valuable, close enough to be worth sticking with.

A hair treatment with color

An add-on that costs you product and a few minutes, but clients see as a real perk. And they often start adding it themselves.

A birthday gift

It isn’t tied to visit count, but it’s the best reason to send a notification that doesn’t feel like an ad. A client who hasn’t been in for a while gets a reason to come back.

The objection

“We take bookings on our own website — that’s enough for us.”

Your own booking site is a better start than most salons have — you’re not dependent on a platform and clients book with you directly. No argument there.

But try answering two questions:

How many clients booked with you for the last time in the past year and never came back? Your booking system can’t tell you, because it tracks appointments, not their absence.

How will you reach them? You have email that one in five people open. You have Instagram, where you reach whoever the algorithm decides. A notification from an app your client chose to download shows up right on her lock screen.

Vernio doesn’t have to replace your booking system. It handles what booking can’t: who dropped off and how to win them back.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it really my app, or a shared one?

Yours. Your own name, logo and colors, listed on its own in the App Store and Google Play.

Do I need a new POS or card reader?

No. The phone or tablet you already have is enough.

We take bookings on our own website. Do we have to move them?

No. Your bookings can keep running as they are. Vernio handles loyalty, client insights and communication.

Can I see which clients haven’t been in for a while?

Yes. The admin shows visit frequency, and you can notify only those who haven’t booked in a while.

Can I have different rewards for different services?

Yes. You can award points by spend, so a color service counts for more than a cut.

Can I change the rewards myself?

Yes. You set rewards, point values, copy and colors in the admin, without us. Changes show up in the app instantly.

How long until my app is in the store?

Typically 2 to 3 weeks from signing, including 1 to 7 days for App Store and Google Play review.

Who owns my customer data?

You do. We can export your customer database any time, and we never use it for anything else.
